Whether it's serving a family across the street or partnering with a church across the world, every act of compassion is an opportunity to reflect Christ's love.

Grief Support & Recovery Groups

No one should have to walk through life's challenges alone.

We host support groups that provide encouragement, healing, and hope for those experiencing grief or seeking recovery through Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). Everyone is welcome.

West Avenue Compassion

God is at work around the world, and we're grateful to be part of His mission.

Our mission teams partner with local Church of the Nazarene congregations across the globe, serving alongside them as they minister within their own communities. Rather than creating our own projects, we come alongside local churches and the global church to support their vision through construction, children's ministry, evangelism, medical outreach, leadership development, and community service.

Together, we're building lasting relationships and strengthening the work God is already doing.

WAC works with volunteer groups from all around. If you would like to volunteer, or if you have a group that wishes to volunteer as a team, please email eric@westavenuecompassion.org for more information.

bLESSING bAGS


Our Blessing Bags are available every Sunday for anyone to pick up and share with a neighbor in need. Filled with essential items, they're a simple way for our church family to show Christ's love beyond our walls.

As needs arise, we gather together to assemble new bags, making this a hands on ministry the whole church can be part of.

We believe caring for people includes caring for emotional and mental well-being.

Through educational classes, practical tools, and free counseling resources, we seek to support individuals and families on their journey toward healing and hope.
